Permanent Makeup Do's & Don'ts
What are some things to avoid before my appointment?
Avoid drinking alcohol, caffeine, & energy drinks

Avoid taking blood thinners, Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and other NASIDs

All clients seeking permanent lip services should exfoliate their lips
(24 HOURS)
in advance and keep them moisturized (hours) before the appointment.
Eyelash lifts and extensions are prohibited
(TWO WEEKS)
before and after getting permanent makeup above the nose.
Previous Permanent Makeup
Can you get permanent makeup if you have previous permanent makeup done?
It depends, we will need to see what type of permanent makeup you have had done, and when. IF it was done by us, it should not be a problem.
Hair Removal Do's & Don'ts
What are some things to avoid before my appointment?
Avoid wearing tight or fitted clothing to you appointment.
Take a shower 1-2 hour prior and gently exfoliate the day before (30 minutes -1 hours prior if you're menstruating)
Avoid getting waxing if its been less than 2-3 weeks since your last shave (1/4 inch or a rice grain length is ideal)
Avoid tanning for at least 24 hours before your wax appointment.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine the day of your appointment
Avoid waxing if you're currently on antibiotics, reschedule after completing the series.

What if I have a question that isn't covered?
We do pride ourselves on educating our clients and respecting their privacy. Yes, we will definitely still answer your concern, regardless whether its done directly or anonymously. If you have a unique or sensitive question we encourage clients to email us directly for a confidential answer.
Before You Appointment
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Just bring yourself. A government issue ID or driver's license is required. You can bring pictures of different styles that you like and/or are inspirations to you.

Effective 2020
Non Refundable Deposit Policy
Boastful Beauty operates 100% by appointment only, we do not accept walk ins or same day appointments. Due to permanent makeup services requiring large (1-3.5 hour) time slots, we require a deposit to secure appointments. All deposits are non refundable and will be applied towards the balance due or future services.
Attendance & Booking Policy
Late Cancellations - Clients are required to give a proper notice of cancellation no later than (24)hours prior to their appointment. Due to our high servicing schedule, failure to give proper cancellation notice will result in a ($50.00) late cancellation fee. This fee must be paid prior to scheduling the next appointment.
No Call/No Shows - No shows forfeit their right to promotional pricing! Client will be charged regular price for the initial service and the touch up. Client will be limited to one opportunity to reschedule that service, and must be on time.
Late Arrival - Clients will be charged a ($20.00) late fee If they’re more than 10 minutes late. Client’s appointment will be cancelled after 20 minutes and the ($20.00) late fee will be add to their service balance.
Rescheduling - Clients are also limited to the amount of reschedule request & cancellations. Clients are allowed two opportunities to reschedule per service without the inconvenience fee, if proper (24) hour notice was given. Excessive rescheduling request of 3 or more will result in a ($25.00) rebooking fee. This fee must be paid prior to booking your next appointment!
Guest & Pet Policy
At this time we have restricted clients from bring additional guest to their appointment. This policy is designed to promote a clean and sterile environment during a pandemic. No animals are allowed in the salon unless they are a service animals with proper documentation.
